sirrah Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 A while ago I'd been using this labels mod. When I stepped over to the OB version I forgot about it. Yesterday, after being shot down 3 times by a "ghost" enemy :P I decided to reinstall this labels.lua (tried the old one from my download folder and also downloaded it again) Then I found out that the grey shaded dot labels have an ofset to the actual target and when getting closer (few miles), the shaded dot label changes back into the full blown original text labels. Anyone else noticed this? Never had this before. nighthawk2174 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Yes the file structure for the file has dramatically changed. You can try this one my community uses: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fh8g1u529orj368/Labels.lua?dl=0 Note though the change in label opactity over distance is still broken (has been for several months) and were still waiting for ED to actually acknowledge this so for now if you want you can just disable all the label opacity changes up to a more realistic spoting distance.
sirrah Posted April 14, 2019 Author Posted April 14, 2019 That's a bummer These label mods were really helpfull and maybe even essential.
