Very new to Voice Attack - need help

I got the vaicom pro plugin with AiRio but need a little help in setting things up to get it working. I dug into the F-14 manual regarding setting up some PTT buttons for using it, but Im at a big loss as to where to even start. Using my own VA profile works on everything else but gives me issues in the F-14 for some reason. Any chance for some assistance please?

Have you got Vaicom working with any aircraft (you have mentioned your own VA profile)? Mine is working fine and I will happily help you if I can.

 

 

Have you looked at the Vaicom user's guide as this also helps explain set-up. There are some PTT options in Vaicom's configuration panel (Lctrl+Lalt+c to open and then look at the PTT tab.

 

 

 

There is also a Vaicom specific thread on the forums (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=198297) and this might be a good place to look to see if others have managed to solve the problem you have.

I havent really used vaicom for any other aircraft; I mostly fly the Huey, but Ive been flying the Hornet for the past 2 months and dont really have a need for VA unless rearming or what-not. I have a hard time memorizing words and phrases at my older age.

 

I just want to use the vaicom exclusively for the F-14. All of the ptt bindings use SRS and honestly I dont even know what this is used for - what key command is what and how its supposed to be mapped in-game. I use SRS in squad ops, but VA + SRS is very new to me.

In terms of mapping in-game do it in a way that makes sense for you - most of the time the planes have more than one radio set and so you can PTT on either or both of the sets at the same time depending on which way you push your PTT button (if mapped to a hat). Jester responds whichever way I press mine at the moment.:)
