Noob General questions about F-18

I am thinking about buying the F-18. Can you tell me if the module comes with missions and campaigns?

 

If campaigns, where and what time-frame do they take place?

It comes with a "mini campaign" of 5 or 6 cold war Era missions (1980s) and then there are many single missions that Wags has been releasing lately
