Unable to update to 2.5.4.30038

When i start DCS updater and press "update Now" Windows asks if i will allow DCS to make changes …. After pressing "Yes" the updater starts up Notepad to display the changelog and then starts up the game V. 29585 instead of updating to V.30038.

Any advice what to do?

Solved the problem by changing some settings in my newly installed firewall
