AI wingmen misses refuel basket

Not sure if this is a F14 or a ED problem since the F14 is the only AC with probe I own.

 

 

 

I was wondering why my AI wingmen took so long to refuel all the time.

Then I saw this.

 

 

He was flying as if he was refueling but had the probe to the left of the basket. He does this until the tanker makes a course correction, then he tries to hit the basket again. But can loose it again and start flying to the left of the basket. He is not trying to correct the issue so it looks like he thinks the probe is in the right position.

I don´t think he is getting any fuel in this position beacuse it takes forever to refuel his AC.

Found this issue again using the latest DCS open beta. I sent my wingman at the end of a mission to refuel from an S-3 tanker, and he lined up above the basket, missing it completely. I have attached a track file and a screenshot of the issue. Not sure if this is limited to the F-14. I have not tested this with other modules.

Edit: Tested wingman refueling process in blank mission made in the ME. Wingman refuels just fine in F-14 and F-18. Issue appears to have been limited to mission 2 of Cage the Bear cold start supercarrier campaign or is intermittent.
