Auger Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 All my pieces have arrived and I'm ready to move from my X52Pro (with VKB pedals) HOTAS to a TM Warthog Throttle, Virpil T-50CM2 stick (Warbird base) and VKB pedals. I'm planning to do my button/axis setup within DCS. Is there a particular order I should be connecting these devices? Do I calibrate these devices in the own software, eg Target for the TMWH, VPC Configuator for the T-50 or let Windows handle the calibration? Not sure how to proceed, and don't want to start conflicts between different brand devices and Windows. Any help, greatly appreciated.
SVgamer72 Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Windows won’t care about install order or brand. They are just various USB game controllers that will be added to the device list as far as windows is concerned. You should calibrate using the tools provided by the companies that make the controllers. The TM tool is hard to track down. Here is a link: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1293634&postcount=36 I am not sure how it ships, but you might need to load firmware into the Virpil base to support the total number of buttons on the CM2 grip if it is setup for the CM1 out of the box. dburne Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Definitely only use the Virpil software for calibrating the Virpil stick.
