QuiGon Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I've seen various people here mentioning the F-8 variant and that it would be included in the A-8 module. Is that true? What's the source of that information? Why is it not mentioned anywhere in the module description? I'm confused  Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
xvii-Dietrich Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 (edited) One of the developers (Coyote) was looking into an F-8 variant at one stage... Ref: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3759886&postcount=292 And one of the newsletters mentioned an F-8... Ref: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3774154&postcount=180 There has been no official statement from ED that I can find that says that the FW 190 F-8 will be included in the FW 190 A-8 module. QuiGon Posted May 23, 2019 Author Posted May 23, 2019 Thanks, that's what I thought, but some comments here made me think I missed something. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
valrond Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I'm also looking at this. I own Il-2 BoX and there the F-8 is a field modification of the A-8.
Cunctator Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Since there is no official statement of any kind it looks like ED has not yet made a decision.
