how to move system processes

On the search for more core power I found this very helpful and easy to follow tutorial.

It descibes how you can move processes of the System to only one core.

So there isn't a bottleneck for cpu consuming single-core applications (like LockOn) any more.

 

PS:

If you ask yourself how to name the .bat file - you can chose any name you like.

 

You can also leave away the 'PAUSE' trigger, so you don't have to confirm anything at Windows startup.

I neither see the problm in regards to LOMAC FC nor the benefit of setting the Lomac affinity to a specific CPU.

 

I do not have any issues in regards to performance with my c2d Dual Core CPU.

 

Nice "ho-to" anyway, if one needs it.

Which i guess could be true..

 

 

But personally.

i like to see cpu usage on cpu 2 at 0% and cpu 1 at 9%

 

then when i start my game They both spike up, then cpu 1 dies back down whilst cpu 2 is in use. so i know for a fact cpu 1 is keeping my pc up and running,

And cpu 2 is simply running my game. no bottle necking...

 

I prefer it ...

Also it seems to have dropped my cpu temp by 4 degrees C at idle.

 

Hope others want to do the same,

Otherwise this is a waste of time lol..

 

I have personally 2-3 frames more over cites with visibility set to High.
