I do know for a fact we're not getting an F/A-18 in Black Shark.

A F/A-18 in the future will be rock!!

 

First, it's a truly polivalent aircraft (OK, F-16 and F-15E are polivalent too, but IMHO they can't landing in a Carrier!), with a lot of interesant weapon (Harm and Harpoon anyone?). It can do a lot of different kind of mission; from air to air missions to FAC and other interesant air-to-ground stuff. And other countries (not only USA) have F/A-18 in their AF.

 

And now, there are more and more avaible manuals of this aircraft, in some e-shops.

 

I think a lot of people will be complained if someday we see a F/A-18 ED simulator.

I still find a helo add-on to a fast jet sim a *big* surprise. It's like having suddenly a train simulator, or a sail sim.

 

I can imagine already: "Microsoft Train Simulator 3.0: Queen Elisabeth" or something.

Don't forget, Weta43, that besides military planning there is also such a thing as asymmetrical warfare. In a brown water scenario, I think it could emerge that a Ka-50 is called to attack light patrol boats (would be a VERY nice addition) or a merchant ship hijacked by rogue elements & their igla's. The Su-25T wasn't designed to attack ships either, but I made plenty of challenging missions where I attack frigates like Albatros, Oliver perry and even Ticonderoga in coastal or harbour environments. Mostly with heavy weapons of course like Raduga Kilter or Karen missiles, but the Vikhr (also available on Ka-50) proves extremely lethal in the game for ships.

 

If you have something that goes ballistic and explode you can go bash whatever you want.... boats vehicles, can even try to get fast flying ducks like f15 out of the ground, well if you score a hit let me know....;)
