Nealius Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 I'm having a lot of issues with my O+ losing tracking when I look at panels down by my left or right hip, as I often have to do in the A-10 when messing with radios, CDU, or TACAN. 1. My room is fully lit. 2. WMR cliff house does not have tracking issues when I look in the same directions 3. Only in DCS do I ever lose tracking Logically I should not be having tracking issues at all, since they do not occur in the WMR cliff house. But, for some reason, I lose tracking only in DCS. I can't figure out if it's DCS itself or SteamVR, as I spend zero time in Steam's VR room.
Thick8 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 I think it’s the placement of the tracking cameras. When looking down they are pretty much blocked by your body. I have the pinky paddle on my warthog set up as a function key. I use that in conjunction with the trim hat to move my seat position to better view the radios. I also set up the two switches on the front of the throttle base as snap views. One for each side panel. Makes waypoint creation easy in flight. Nealius Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 Now that you mention it, I do subconsciously shift sideways in my seat when looking at side panels these days, and that seems to mitigate the issue somewhat.
