How Do I Reinstsall WWII Assets Pack

Hi, I had WWII Assets installed and working great but then something corrupted so I want to reinstall it. As the install manager believes it to be installed OK it won't let me reinstall. Being relativelynew to DCS architecture how does one re-set instsall manage to allow this to be done please?

 

I've lost most if not all of my assets and Missions I made using it won't run now as they are looking for WWII Assets.

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

While on most games you are forced to reinstall whenever their contents gets corrupted (either by hard disk failure or by the installation of user Mods) ... on DCS this reinstall is not really needed, as DCS cames with a repair tool that fixes most faults of this kind.

 

To use it, open a Command Prompt window with Admin privileges and navigate to /Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS/Bin ... once there, run the following command:

 

DCS_Updater Repair

 

 

This will compare each file of your DCS install with the master copies that are on ED's website, and download any that are either missing or corrupted. Once it finishes, it will offer to delete any files extraneous that are on DCS folder (my screenshot is old .. at that time, this deletion had to be explicitly asked with a "DCS_Updater Cleanup" command).

I would recommend downloading and using SkateZilla's DCS updater utility - provides a great graphical interface for repairs and installing updates / rolling back.:thumbup:
