Can't use I-16

Hi all,

I purchased I-16 via the e shop. I then installed it. When I try to fly it, it always starts in the map view. Pressing F1 for the cockpit view makes no difference.

I then realised I-16 only works with the beta version. So I thought I'd down load the beta version but I got a few option messages that I didn't understand so I aborted the down load.

So am I right in thinking I'll be able to use I-16 in the future as the beta version becomes an update? Or could someone explain what to do about down loading the beta version and running two different versions?

Hi the I-16 should work with the release version, are you sure you are signed into DCS with the same account as you purchased the aircraft?

 

If you are using the aircraft from the mission editor ensure the aircraft is set to player.

 

Try an instant action mission, if you still get the map view it may be best to check your account first to ensure the aircraft is on the same account.
