Hey to all

I started practice air refueling. i use for the tanker the S3 B but when I choose to be in 10.000 ft with 220 knots, the speed of the tanker is at 189 knots. Any ideas?

thanx

This caught me out as well - the mission editor references TAS (True Air Speed) rather than IAS (Indicated Airspeed) so you need to adjust for it.

The speed you set in the ME is ground speed — at 10k' that will translate into a significantly lower IAS. The Viking is a jet, so just slap 50–100kts extra on top of what you have now and then swear at the crippled refuelling AI that can't even tell you its flight stats.

Last time I checked ground speed (GS - there is a tick box for it) is used, rather than any type of air speed - be it true or indicated...
