rtimmons Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Is it possible to stop automatically mapping every controller that shows up in Windows. I can understand the case with the Warthog mappings but every other case I have encountered has been a significant problem for me. My racing wheel and pedals get mapped to flight controls like the pitch\roll and rudders etc. Why? It doesn't hurt anything for them to show up in DCS World as long as they are not mapped to anything but DCS World always maps them to critical controls that cause me to not be able to fly until I un-map them or unplug them from the USB. This is a major hassle that should not happen and I can not understand why these mapping even occur in the first place. If it is meant to be helpful it is not. If I am missing something maybe someone can explain to me. Why have the software do extra stuff that is not helpful and has to be undone by the user? slyfly
Tidy Dave Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 My solution is to open up the Device Manager, view by container type and disable anything I don't need before starting DCS. At least you won't have to go fumbling around pulling out cables and stuff.
