Getting pretty consistent with carrier landings but every trap still accompanied by the nose of the plane jerking upwards with the rear actually hitting the deck and sparking. I have checked my bindings to see if I am somehow applying wheel brakes without knowing it but can find nothing wrong. I am certainly not intentionally applying any brakes. Any ideas?

Check your AOA is 8.1, your rate of descent is not over 750, kinder sounds as your high on the glide slop.. (maybe) I always use ALS to make sure I'm on and everything is ok, and finely make sure as you touch down you only go mil power not full burner..

Just some stuff to check, hope is helps

Are you giving any pitch inputs, like try to flare her? Do not do that. With an AoA of 8.1 degree and a glide path of about -3 degree the nose of the plane should be at about +5 degree on the pitch ladder. From turning into the final (groove) 'till touch down.
