Tholozor Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 (edited) While reading through A1-F18AC-NFM-200, I've noticed that certain stores have notes regarding their drag index on the BRU-33, specifically if they're mounted on the 33/A VER versus to the 33A/A CVER (canted VER) or sometimes either, notated as ©VER. Is this something we may possibly see down the line as an option? Are there any payloads that would require the use of the CVER over to the VER? Mainly asking out of curiosity if there are reasons that certain stores require addition separation, which in turn effects the interference drag between different pylons. Example of a Marine Corps F/A-18C with BRU-33A/A racks for LAU-10 pods and GBU-12s. You can clearly see the offset angle between the LAU-10 pods.
