discwalker
steps: (may need to do twice the steps if the edit box last time contained the .trk extension you can hide with dot in the filename) (play SP mission) - F.E.: main menu mission/SU25T Anti-radar missile practice - Start (abort SP mission) - hit fly - leave plane on the runway - ESC - click QUIT - see debriefing screen ((skipped when prepare mission is selected or training mission)) - click save track button on bottom center - see the current folder is openbeta/tracks - edit filename --- delete the extension part, at any run--- --- type to complete name, do not complete extension--- - click "OK" or press ENTER on the end of the filename - folder changing up to openbeta, this is the BUG - next ENTER or OK save the track, that is the expected behaviour but at ONCE, not TWICE I save a lot of tracks, irritating after a time Edited July 25, 2019 by discwalker minor changes GTX 1070 8GB, 16GB DDR3, W8.1 on SSD, DCS on another SSD

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted July 24, 2019 ED Team Share Posted July 24, 2019 Thanks makes sense now. However when you deleted the name for the file you also deleted the extension .trk try renaming without deleting the .trk it should help DCS decide where the file needs to be.
