Mission 15- Spoilers

I am stuck on the mission where you have to go rescue the downed pilot near the CLA base. It seems I either get shot down if I try to take out the infantry first, or the pilot is captured if I try to take out the AAA first. What am I missing?

I sent my wingman on the air defenses and focused on the troops searching for him. Dont forget the ZU23's at the mosque.
