[BUG] Target Designator To Center

The "Target Designator To Center" does not recenter the target designator box but recenters the radar antenna instead. This fooled me for a good 20 mins.

 

This bug was reported in 2015 here:

But I see that it's still there.

 

If this function is working correctly, it should be renamed in the controls, as it definitely does not center the target designator.

If I’m recalling the cockpit switchology correctly, the RW aircraft can recenter the radar but not the TD.

 

EDIT: So my recall sucks. I might have been conflating the RW controls with my own control setup. Or whatever. There is no "centering" button/switch for either. You control the left/center/right direction of the radar with one switch and the up/down tilt with a dial. No auto-center in both dimensions for either. The radar cursor controller is on the stick. It's a button-like lever that may auto-center when released but my source material makes no mention, if it does. If it does, then there are further issues with the sim's depiction. At any rate, based on the RW aircraft controls, what you describe would be closer to a bug than simply a misnaming of the function.

Yeah I think its a bug too. Hopefully the developers notice this post and consider fixing it.
