With the possibility of a dedicated server for Lomac, I was trying to think of things I would like to see added to multiplayer in general.

Mission Planning: I would like to see the waypoint numbers on the map screen, just like in single player. Also, your particular flight plan should be highlighted (maybe yellow). You should be able to click on each waypoint to get the info for task, altitude, speed, and targetting.

Point System: Mission goals should give increased points because they are worth more. Structures that are assigned as mission targets should also get points. Things brings a new question for 1.1, will the new military installations give points if destroyed?

Thanks ED, you guys are doing great work!!

In fact, it should be a user-settable amount of points for each goal/building.

HOwever, there is a big problem with the target diamond - I don't want it! I want the option to turn that diamond /off/ when I designate a target in the mission editor. The reason for this is that looking for your targets visually can be quite fun, while designating them as goals without setting'em up as targets is currently impossible.

What's up BTW, Vapor? The AeA page seems to be down ;)

What's up!! Well AeA has closed up shop. Some of us joined the 192nd, and I joined the 504th to fly my beloved Su-25.

THe team got too dormant or something?

Well, you'll be having with the Su-25T I'm sure ... I'll be waiting to see you try losing me in the mountains again! ;)

Hello VapoR.

Your suggestions is interesting, but don't expect to see them in 1.1, because it's almost finished and taking a final tests these days. however, this doen't mean you will be able to DL it tomorrow ;)

"There are five dangerous faults which may affect a general: recklessness, which leads to destruction; cowardice, which leads to capture; a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults; a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame; over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble." ??

I have set mission goals without designating targets - buildings and an S300 SAM group work just fine.

You need to set an attack waypoint for the mission goals to register, but you don't need to set any targets.

The target diamond . . . . . apparently it's something illuminated by laser.

Fine, but then it shouldn't work at extreme range.

That'd be a good modification for the CAS side of things, whichever jet you're supposed to be flying.

I am suggesting improvements for future product, I realize it's too late for 1.1 (or maybe in a patch for 1.1 :) ).

I hadn't noticed or realize dthat. Does it work well for multiplay missions? I mean, last time I tried to assign goals it wouldn't assign them to proper sides .... maybe I'm jsut really confused about this issue.
