newb error/question with self create missions.

I'm certainly doing something wrong; so my apologies for the rookie question.

 

Every mission I create (save)..then start, does not allow me to fly and or even change views. it doesn't even allow me to escape (esc-end mission).

Hi nerves. Set the skill level on the aircraft you wish to fly to "Player" or "Client."

 

When you click on the aircraft, you should see the menu item come up in the column on the right side of the screen.
