[REPORTED]I've lost my VR "hands" in latest OB cross post

Anyone experience disappearing hands in VR? Since the latest OB, I have no "hands" once I get in the cockpit. They exist everywhere else in game, but disappear when I go to fly. Any solutions? It's on Oculus Rift setup, have 3 sensors.

Hi MurderOne

I deleted the other post, as we dont like to have double posts.

Can you tell me which aircraft you are not seeing hands, or is it all?

So far, I've tried the Hornet and the Tomcat. I can try more.

Everything I own, no hands in cockpit.

Double check your VR controllers options in game, if you have to deselect the option and select again.

Let us know if it helps, if not please let us know which aircraft you are using

thanks

No joy. I continue to have them in all the menus, but they don't appear in cockpit. Doesn't make a difference which aircraft I pick, I have no "hands". 190-D9, F-5, F/A-18, UH-1, Mi-8, F-14B, MiG-21 and 19, AJS-37, A-10C, M-2k, AV8B, doesn't matter which. No hands in cockpit. Turned off hand controls, closed menu, went back and turned on, no joy. I've run repair via powershell, no difference.

I ran another set of repairs and cleanup, and then went to the menu and selected VR preset in graphics, and got my hands back. I'll tweak it to where I want it and see if my hands disappear again.

Hi

thanks for the file.

Can you rename that options.lua, keep it as a backup

then restart DCS and redo your options. Do you see any change?

If not you can use your old options again.

What I'm discovering, at least at this point, is the water quality level is causing this issue. I was attempting to gain fps. I turned water quality to low, and lost my hands. I didn't realize that was the culprit prior to this. So starting with the VR preset, I've been working settings up/down, and when I tried water to low, I lost my hands. I will continue to test to make sure, at least on my end, if that is indeed the culprit. I just tested with the Hormuz Rocket Run in the F-14, and that was absolutely the setting that changed things. Everything was normal until I lowered the water quality to less than medium.
