I bought them on the sale on Aug 14th. It took me awhile to get them setup but finally did. I got the mouse working with the index finger as a left click and the middle finger as a right click. Thumb pressure sensor I set to start/stop, so I could turn off the mouse emulation and use the HOTAS.

The product is not 6DOF like the VR controllers and the Steam VR emulation is not very good either at this time. They are really hard to use in mouse emulation and my little $25 air mouse works better (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NL5VHBQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

I tried the Steam VR beta and could see the Vive controllers in the cliff house. The hands were backwards so the right hand moved the left. When I started DCS the hands corrected themselves, but they were all over the place and you could hardly do anything with them in the cockpit. So I got rid of the SteamVR and figured I would try the mouse emulation. It was a lot harder to use than my little air mouse.

At this time I would not recommend buying them, not until they have full 6DOF like the VR controllers. If they had 6DOF and tracked your hand in the air like the controllers they would actually be good.

I have a feeling that in the not too distant future, the headset mfg's will be offering their own gloves to use with the devices.
