I’m probably imagining it but

On certain servers after I die when I press esc I get no options to select a new spawn or even quite the server etc. I can press esc as much as I like but nothing happens. All the other keys work and I can see others flying around. So I end up using the task manager and shutting the program down.

Not a major issue but annoying. Any ideas?

please ensure you are not running any unofficial mods and try a cleanup and repair ( or verify game cache for steam )

 

If it happens again please attach your dcs.log here straight after, we may see some clues in it.

I've had it happen only once in years of DCS and IIRC i "fixed" it by ALT+TAB out of DCS (onto Chrome i had in background i think) and the click the DCS icon in the taskbar to get it back on focus. I had a 2nd screen and HELIOS running at that time, so it was likely the culprit causing the game to get "out of focus" and ignoring the inputs

yes most likely, I have it happen to me in VR if I alt tab to check on something on the desktop.

It has only happened on one MP server so I just haven't gone back but I will do.
