jimmywa3 Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 (edited) In the TM09, carrier landing mission starting at Marshall, a couple of problems. Mothers Tacan has to be set to something other than 44X, because nearby Kutaisi at 44X interferes with the Tacan reception on the harrier. I set it at 40X in the editor and worked well. Way too much fuel loaded in this scenario for a successful hover at Mother...unless you dump fuel first. Went for a swim first time, but good reminder to check the VREST page on the MFD, to see what fuel level is maximum for a good hover. I assume the other two TM09 scenarios would have to be edited accordingly but haven't tried them yet. Other than that, ... great mission, thanks Baltic!! Edited September 5, 2019 by jimmywa3

Agent X20 Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 I've just flown this mission and 44X was significantly offset from the Tarawa so I had to do half the mission by eye. Is this still on the to-fix list? Of course fuel was ok by the time I'd figured it out. Also, I waited the 10 seconds and then made the break turn to the left, but I got no further mission prompts after that. Should I have waited for a break signal? Awesome training missions BD! :]
