[NO BUG]Cockpit Mirrors still on when folded back.. bug?

Hi,

 

 

I've noticed while playing in VR the mirrors are still on even when there folded back. Just caught my eye as I lent forward in the pit. I have them switched off in the options but concerned that this may be reducing my FPS? The animation in the mirrors still seem to.be playing.

 

 

Anyone else noticed this? And is it a problem/bug

it is a static image so wont be a problem for FPS.
