MSI 8800 ULTRA problem

I am so lost that I am sending this info to all tech forums I see and know. I do need help. :helpsmilie:

 

I bought the 8800 Ultra, tried on my lockon and found out something very disturbing, the texture on any plane is dull, not bright and some whitish flikers round the body of any aircraft.

 

I have downloaded official msi and nvidia drivers, still nothing. I tried to adjust the antialising through nvidia to make the edges smooth in lockon, still no improvement, the graphics in lockon are still there same. I also put the configue to full in the game and also configured nvidia setting to full, no change.

 

You see those white lines on the plane and how dull the aircraft looks, no sharp lightings. It is like nvidia or the game are not working together. I also tried another game, madden 08, and I still have the same problem.

 

Has anyone had this problem before?

 

My other specs are: RAM 3Gb, Athlon Dual core 64 6000+, mother board KN3 SLI2, XP.

You need to try different settings in LO menu. Change the "shadows" parameters.

vassel, why did you bought a 8800 Ultra for this CPU ? The Ultra is too fast for it. Or do you plan to upgrade your CPU ?
