Hawg57 Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Good evening. I cant drop any weapons using CCRP. The lines are lined up, but the target itself is either off to the left or right and the weapons wont release. Addistionaly, If I stay lined up but left or right I can release a bomb, but obviously doesn't hit the target. I also, cant get my TPG and Mav to function as one. Could it be operatore error or is there a known bug? Thank you.
GTFreeFlyer Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Sounds like operator error, but with DCS you never know! Are you bombing 3/9 mode or 5 mil? You have to get the lines lined up and then when about 10 seconds to drop, push and hold the weapon release button. If you are in 3/9 mode, the bomb will only release if the release cue falls through the circle in the middle of your HUD. If in 5 mil mode, it will only release if the cue falls DIRECTLY through the center of the circle (not anywhere in the circle). The target will seem to be off to the right or left of the lines if there is wind. Just get the lines lined up. They account for the wind. I always think pilot error first, but I am using both 3/9 and 5 mil Ive done everything that I have always done, but no matter what, I cant get the lines to align and when in 5 mil, the azmith line is no where near where my target is selected. Im going to trouble shoot some more, but at this point I am running out of ideas..everything worked fine the other day, I haven't changed a thing, but today for some reason, it just isn't working... Thanks for the reply !
GTFreeFlyer Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 It sounds very much like your SPI is not assigned to your target which is a common mistake. If you are looking at the target with your TGP and don’t see “TGP” in the lower left of the HUD (I’m betting you see STPT) then your computer is not guiding you to where your TGP is looking. Grab Chuck’s Guide and read up on SOI and SPI. TMS up long will set your SPI. Without a track it could be hard for us to tell.. - A few things to check through: - Master arm is ARMED - Weapon is selected - Weapon profile is set to release in CCRP not just the hud cycled to CCRP Mode - A SPI is set Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Thank you ALL for your trouble shooting ideas. Be well!
