N49 Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 (edited) Hello, i was wondering if somebody who knew Russian would be able to translate this small part of a MiG-17F & PM Manual for me. Whatever information i can get from it will be used in my upcoming project. Edited September 29, 2019 by N49
oreste Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Maybe you should make a pdf document with that manual, once done enter it in google translator, there is an option to translate documents if you've noticed. I sometimes translated whole manuals like this but they shouldn't be too big if not fails, I wish you succeed I found myself often in your situation. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]My dream: DCS Tornado
pepin1234 Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Did you test the google translator app? You can translate documents with the photo scanner option. Not 100% perfect but you get some help. The technical words will be tricky maybe. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Harlikwin Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Technical google translate is usually pretty terrible, but sometimes you can figure it out. Same for OCR... Hello, thanks for the advice! i didn't know google translate even had that type of feature. Hopefully it gets most things right, but some parts of the manual aren't the best quality, probably because it was copied in the 1960's. Really, thanks for the advice!
