30mikemike Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Has anyone noticed some textures taking a split second to load on the Caucasus map in VR? I’m using the Rift S. Only happens at fairly high altitudes.... i7 8700k @ 5.0ghz. Strix GTX1080Ti. 32GB RAM @ 3600. 2x Hyper X SSD’s with DCS on one. Oculus Rift S. Asus PG278-QR. Eaglewings Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I may not be referring to your case but I see something like that often when I move to-fro say cockpit view to external view especially when on a busy environment. Like it would a few seconds to load proper texture in the cockpit view. This has been there for me for sometime now. I felt perhaps less power hardware take time to load all the textures. Strange because when I borrowed my mates Rift S back in June for a few days it was fine. Might be after a few updates, who knows. Thought about doing a repair or clean up but seeing as I have no mods etc I’m not sure if that is necessary...god knows! i7 8700k @ 5.0ghz.
