Lucas_From_Hell Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Let's play a fun game - how many different a/c are seen in this photo, with bonus points for variants :D
aaron886 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Well I can get a few. A-6A (foreground,) A-6C (fore and right,) A-5A, A-4C, F-4J, EA-1F, SH-3A, RA-3B (in black,) A-3B.
mvsgas Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 LOL, we are using the old military designations system or the current one? To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
Lucas_From_Hell Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Well I can get a few. A-6A (foreground,) A-6C (fore and right,) A-5A, A-4C, F-4J, EA-1F, SH-3A, RA-3B (in black,) A-3B. I don't actually have an answer sheet you see, but I'm inclined to say you got most of them right :D I'm unsure if the Vigilante is an attack or recce version though. And msvegas, either counts. Vanveken, you nearly gave me a heart attack with that photo - clearly a PS job, it's being referred to as "Tucará" (Tucano + Pucará). The concept was done to bring the question: is there still room for a twin engine turboprop A/O aircraft like the Bronco or is that a thing of the past? If my eyes don't fail me, in the same photo you can spot some Armée de l'Air Mirage 2000-5s behind it. Probably CRUZEX. The Brazilian Air Force is retiring its M2000 this year, also. Replacements haven't been announced yet, and F-5EM and FM will be filling the gap until then. Rumours were that the F/A-18E/F was to be anniunced, however the spying scandals surfaced shortly before that and the whole thing went down the drain. The air force pays the price. So far it's still Gripen, Super Hornet and Rafale, and no decisions made.
joey45 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Mosie The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
