first V-STOL craft , a piece of art of military technology . F-35 has problem over problem , a great stuff for me it's something that has outstanding capabilities for few money . creating a great stuff with lot of gold , anybody can do it (again criticism isn't US oriented)

I know a lot of people (inc me) are going to miss watching/photographing them flying low level in certain areas around the UK thats for sure.

Giant Antonov An-22 cargo plane crashes in rural Russia

 

A giant Antonov An-22 military cargo plane has crashed during training in a rural area of Russia's central Tula region with the loss of 12 air crew.

 

The ageing Soviet-era turboprop plane, one of the biggest in the world, may have suffered an electrical failure, Russian media report.

Rescue at Sea

HH-60 helicopters with the 56th Rescue Squadron take off at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom yesterday to fly

more than 500 miles west of Ireland for a real-world rescue mission. A crew member of a cargo ship suffered

a serious head injury requiring medevac, and U.S. forces were called upon to help.

Thanks, Most of the photos I post are from .mil sites (CNETAF.af.mil for example)

and they normally have a description. This also allows me to acknowledge the photographer since they are also on the description.
