Haegar Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Are you really going to say EEAH is more immersive than DCS:BS will be? Listen, I know EECH very well and have EE2 also. I must say you need to come up with other examples, frankly. Not good enough. I wrote down a memory from 1999 - as an example for a well balanced simulation with a high immersion factor ... at this time EEAH was the best helo sim availaible - beside LB2 of course. So using the word IS might not be right tense ... If you had read the hole thread you might have noticed that my example was the response to the "movie posting" ... But maybe you found a peace of truth ... I fear BS will not have this high emmersion factor I wish it should have.
GGTharos Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Oh it will give you immersion alright - but will it be the kind you want? Pilot workload is high ... hiding near a bridge and then popping up to attack some tanks on it would likely be suicide - but I haven't tried doing so myself yet ... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
ED Team Groove Posted October 17, 2007 ED Team Posted October 17, 2007 From what i can tell about immersion is that you actually try to do two things: Keep that thing steady and look into the Skhval monitor searching for targets. Survining the enemy air defences is where i still need improvement on :D Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
