TazTime Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 (edited) Hello, *****RESOLVED***** After completing a successful system repair (as my previous DCS 2.5 OB would not update to latest version) I am experiencing problems. This was all done to accomplish my Falcon installation. * The F-16 did install. * Now the when selecting an instant mission the load sequence gets to 100% but never launches.... * Sim does this with any plane.... When I uninstalled the sim I used Windows to complete that function. I also deleted the old DCS 2.5 OB directory. After installing a fresh 2.5 OB I did notice something concerning. DCS launched but it still knew who i am. My user ID was there and i proceeded to re-download all my purchased content. The results are like I specified in the beginning. DCS loads the mission but does not launch it. Just hangs at 16% CPU usage. Windows does not state DCS is not responding. It's just stuck. Sincerest thanks in advance for assistance, Cheers Edited October 4, 2019 by TazTime Resolved

TazTime Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 Hi Folks, Fixed the problem by deleting the DCS folder in "user/saved games" and allowing DCS to rebuild it. Had to launch DCS twice but it did the trick!!! Thank you for the heads up and all the best! Now off to the Falcon ;-)
