[RESOLVED] No cockpit functions in instant action

Hi, not sure if this is a bug or simply incomplete work......on my second time of trying out the viper last night, tried a few instant action missions. Using the guns only mission and the mig 29 bam mission, when I launched into the cockpit, I had everything cold and dark, although, the jet was functioning, engine responded to throttle etc and I could fly it.....

 

Any ideas?

Had this too. Restarted the game and it worked fine.

Hi, still getting this issue, I can see the hud etc when entering the mission and its paused, soon as I press fly, HUD goes blank and missing loads of functions, for example, no fuel flow , stuck on 5900. tried restarting, no joy, same on 3 different missions, free flight , landing and takeoff.....

 

help please?

Hey, some days ago i had the same problem... when i entered the cockpit i could see everything powered and Head up display working... instant after unpause everything shut down in the cockpit... no hud, nu mfd's and so on...

 

Found out that one switch on my warthog throttle (i think it was the flaps down switch) was causing the problem ... the switch was in default configuration after installation of the game...

When you put the switch in flaps up position before you start your flight it should work... i reconfigured my switch to flaps...

If you use the "Syncronize Hotas Controls to Hotas buttons" under the Miscellaneous section of options, you need to make sure all your switches are in the correct position for the aircraft to operate.

 

 

 

If you don't, and you select a plane that is running, it will shut off as soon as you un-pause the sim. Unless all your switches are in the correct state.

 

Always forget that part too.

Really depends on what functions you have mapped to the hotas.

 

Definitely anything you have mapped to a power function, like Battery Main etc...

Then the other stuff, Master Arm, Laser Arm, Speedbrake, those kinda things.

 

 

 

You can turn off the sync option, then everything can get weird imo but it won't shut off when you enter the pit at least.
