Hey all

Just a quick question, I’m having issues getting GBU-12s to track my laser in multiplayer if I set my laser code to anything other than 1688. I can consistently hit with 1688 as code. But if I change it to 1655 for instance they don’t track. I was under the impression that the GBUs were being changed to whatever code the TPOD was set to as a “cheat” just for the initial release. But to me it seems that all GBUs are set to 1688 regardless of what the pod is set to.

Anybody else also seeing this issue? I just want to make sure I’m not doing something stupid.

I’ve only noticed it in multiplayer but if I get some time I’ll test it in single player this evening.

Cheers

The laser code in the bomb defaults to 1688, at this time the code on the bomb can only be changed via the Mission Editor.

As Revelation said: the code for the LGBs can currently only be set in the mission editor.

AFAIK there is no way to change the code from the cockpit in our particular F-16 variant.

In the future they will certainly add an option to change the codes somehow while being parked on the ground.
