This thread shows my attempt to create a FA18 Hornet cockpit. I’m flying DCS in VR and wanted to improve the gaming experience by getting the ergonomic positions right. Also I wanted to place the DDI at the right spot in space so that It would be possible to push the buttons without having to look. That’s how it started, now it is becoming a much bigger project, trying to build the whole cockpit in 1:1.

 

I’m using adobe illustrator and my universities laser cutter to create the parts.
