azzameen Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Hello, seeing the latest captures from the cockpits, I see graphic differences with my DCS. First of all, my computer is an intel I7 8700K gigabyte Aorus Z370 motherboard, 32GB RAM, Nvidia gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti video card, and the DCS installed on an SSD hard drive apart from the main one. My configuration in DCS is this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1m4j6g8BX0l_MgISVdm1W7Un39tdgkMF-/view?usp=sharing I have tried playing different things inside the Nvidia Control Panel, but always getting the same result https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vptZ0j84KW2V6ImeQx8-3BCW7y05lrK_/view?usp=sharing As you can see, IDDs look like "fuzzy" I have erased the metashaders and the fxo, I have deactivated the options of windows to full screen, I have put an exception in the antivirus for DCS, but I do not get that they look sharp any idea? Thank you very much in advance I9 13900K, 64GB RAM, GTX 4090, 2TBx4 SSD, Quest 3
CobaltUK Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Looks `OK` to me but do not have what you compare it too. If the issue is in VR then i do agree as many would. (but not visible to me in that pic) Windows 7/10 64bit, Intel i7-4770K 3.9GHZ, 32 GB Ram, Gforce GTX 1080Ti, 11GB GDDR5 Valve Index. Force IPD 63 (for the F-16)
azzameen Posted October 21, 2019 Author Posted October 21, 2019 The same has been my madness :-) I see that there is not much difference without zooming (when you get closer it looks sharper) In VR it is the "payment" to be made ... For example https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steam/apps/411950/ss_d962d4f9b25fe7faac0eccb81576ce92c452998f.jpg?t=1555594164 We will have to modify the MDG_strokesDefs.lua file to try to refine it ... Thanks you!!!! I9 13900K, 64GB RAM, GTX 4090, 2TBx4 SSD, Quest 3
petsild Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 For a long time I use a modified MDG_strokesDefs.lua. stroke_thickness = 0.2 stroke_fuzziness = 0.4 -- Currently is used for DMC generated fonts black outline DMC_outline_thickness = stroke_thickness * 3 DMC_outline_fuzziness = stroke_fuzziness * 1.1 DMC_stroke_thickness = 0.65 DMC_stroke_fuzziness = 0.42 MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4, Kingston 3600 MHz 64 Gb, i5 12600K, Gigabyte RTX 4090, Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus,VKB NXT Premium.
