Recon21288 Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 I'm not sure how its happening, but I'm not the only 1 with the problem. Please see the below post. If we replace the default F16 RWR sounds with our own, it also affects the F18's. Can a member of the development team confirm if this is a bug, or expected behaviour? If its expected behaviour whats the ideal way of getting our own RWR sounds into the F16 without it affecting other modules? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=253279 AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D @ 3.4GHz (Turbo's to over 4.0GHz) ¦ x2 32GB LPX Corsair 3600mhz ¦ Eagle 4070 OC 12GB ¦ Asus prime X370-Pro ATX AM4 ¦ Thrustmaster Warthog / AVA Base / FA18C Stick ¦ MFG v3 Rudder Pedals ¦ Track IR SYRIA | PERSIAN GULF | NORMANDY | SINAI | AFGHANISTAN | KOLA | NEVADA | FC3 | F5E | AV8B | F15E | F16 C | F18C | F4E | M2000 | A10C | MOSQUITO | FB VI | MIG29A | GAZELLE | UH1H | AH64D | CH47F | MI8 | KA50 | OH58D | SUPERCARRIER | http://www.twitch.tv/uncappingbadger
WildWeasel303 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 ED's stance on RWR is that the sounds are placeholders/WIP. The way it's currently coded is tied directly to the 18 for now. Pulling them apart and adding separate script/sound files is probably already in the works on ED's side of things.
