Hellcat61 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I was curious if it was possible for someone to mod the MFD in the A-10 for laser guided bomb use. Could someone take the capabilities of the Kh-29 (or other Russian LGM) where the targeting cue can be slewed onto targets, and somehow code it to the Maverick's targeting reticle, so that when an LGB is released, it hits the point slewed onto by the MFD? I am aware it is unrealisitc, but it would add a interesting aspect to the game. I have no idea how to code, or the complexities and limitations of the software, so this may be completely impossible. LazerPotatoe Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 You can use LGBs with the A-10, but you cannot use the targetting screen. You have to set targets in the mission editor, so you can see the pave-penny indicators. You need to use the program called LOPE to modify your available weapons.
