parxuk Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 I've read some threads and watched a video on how to remove the detents on the X52, but I only want to remove the idle detent and keep the afterburner one. Is this possible please? Sporg Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 (edited) I've read some threads and watched a video on how to remove the detents on the X52, but I only want to remove the idle detent and keep the afterburner one. Is this possible please? It should be possible, but it will not be reversible like the other solution: The two detents consist of two rubber plugs on the throttle axis, If you cut the one of them off that represents idle detent, you should have it the way you want. I've shown them here in the orange circle: Edited November 1, 2019 by Sporg System specs: Gigabyte Aorus Master, i7 9700K@std, GTX 1080TI OC, 32 GB 3000 MHz RAM, NVMe M.2 SSD, Oculus Quest VR (2x1600x1440) Warthog HOTAS w/150mm extension, Slaw pedals, Gametrix Jetseat, TrackIR for monitor use

I've shown them here in the orange circle: Fantastic. Not really worried about it being reversible, at I don't know a time when the idle detent is required, but it really gets in the way when trying to do air to air refueling. Thanks for the help.
