F-16 and radio with JTAC

Hi, I have made a very simple mission with my F-16 and an obiective and one JTAC its works all very fine.

But the problem is when I start the mission un runway with F-16 ready to takeoff I can communicate with JTAC but when I start the SAME mission from parcking and I have to start my F-16 I radio is ok, I can't to communicate with JTAC. all system for my arr ok, but obviusly I wrong something....

Does automated startup script produce airplane from ramp start which can communicate? There are many switch errors which can prevent proper function of the radio.

 

What is the frequency of JTAC? Which radio are you using? What is the position of intercom, COM1, COM2, C&I, SQL-GRD, etc. knobs and switches?

Thank for your reply, Com1 (UHF) 305.000 as default, I have see all switch in the panel radio and its is the same for ramp start ( when I start the plane ) and in the runway ready to takeoff...

I had success with a 305 MHz AM JTAC and using 305 MHz AM JTAC. I'll try again soon from cold ramp to see if it is different.

I have success contacting JTAC from the ramp. The only user actions were to set MAIN PWR switch to BATT and UHF function knob to MAIN. The radio started at the frequency of 305 so no change was needed.

 

I did noticed that when initially placing the F-16 unit that the group frequency of 305 isn't immediately transferred to the #1 preset which showed 251. Double check that the radio is really set to 305 MHz.
