F-18 VR + Pancake WiP Cockpit Panel

Hi All,

 

Up for sale is something a little unusual. Truth be told its part of an unfinished project that I never go around to completing due to work commitments but the essence is thus:

 

1) F-18 cockpit outline laser cut from 5MM Midnight Black Perspex

2) Laser Cut out for UFC is ready (and was planned) for Brun's 3D printed UFC (those familiar with the forum will know what I'm talking about.

3) MFDs cut outs were cut by me (by hand) and as such may be a bit rough but can easily be neatened up.

4) All holes have been laser cut and are ready to accept toggles, pots and other switches.

5) 2020 aluminium extrusion is included in the sale

6) 8" LCDs (inc. HDMI driver boards & cables) can be included for an extra £60. Note that the LCDs can be rotated 90 degrees to fit under the curves, I just haven't done that.

7) All extrusion fasteners + bolt will be included in the sale

8 ) The TM Cougar panels are not included in the sale

 

Price is £180 inc. postpage & Paypal. The price is steep for whats is essentially a lump of plastic but having Perspex CNC laser cut is something that isn't a poor man's game; I'm not even close to making my money back by the time I included the 2020 extrusion.

Note that the Monstertech flight stand and all Virpil hardware are not included in the sale, just shown for how I was planning on mounting the panel (essentially two L shaped brackets that make the entire setup rock solid; if the buy meets my asking prices, I'll throw in the brackets for free). The panel is located in the UK (Essex)
