Hey guys, I'm attempting to make a course running through and around the city of Dubai. I already have over 200 Gates. This is for more advanced type flying even though if you go through it slow its not too hard but the point is to push it to the limit. Anyway. I'm getting close but I don't know what the editor is capable of.

1. Is there a way to change the gate colors. Can I make each section a different color so it's less confusing on someone's first try? If so, how do I go about picking gate color. I have the gates assigned to a particular Unit.

2. Is there a way I could have multiple Jets fly at the same time? More like a Race Style Course? Like if you wanted to race your friend and he had a F/A 18. I do have a hornet in the mission, but not set up yet.

3. Is it possible to drop way points, or navigation gates while actually flying? Its hard to place gates where I want them looking down in sat view. Can Satellite view view horizontally? I like to fly low and in between buildings but hard to tell their height from looking down in editor.

4. How can I make the first gate start a timer and the last gate End the timer? So that all gates must be completed in order?

Thanks for any help. I think alot of people may like this.

Bump the timer question, would like to know that as well.

So far i figured it would be a solution using flags and triggers, and otherwise an external lua script.

Have you had a look / searched for dcs racing scripts / missions?

I've never scripted anything so I'm worthless with any of that. Ive tried opening up the "River run" Mission for the Hornet to see how they did it, but I don't understand any of it.

No I havent looked for other Races, or time trials.

Guess its just gonna be what it is. I will search the forums for other answers. Thanks
