[NO BUG] HCU Offset function bugged since navgrid upgrade ?

It seems to me taht the HCU offset function is bugged since the navgrid upgrade.

If you set the cursor somewhere roughly in the center of the screen (less than half way to the edges) it works as intended: HCU Full action -> Offset button -> the TID centers on the HCU cursor.

If you slew the cursor close to the edge of the TID and do the same thing : -> TID map jumps the opposite direction ! does not center on HCU cursor !

just tested in the caucasus instant action take off mission.

cheers

It's gone weird. But is the new behaviour intentional?

It now repositions the own aircraft symbol within the TID field of view by placing the aircraft at the cursor location.

Previously it centered the FOV at the cursor location, which is different....

I preferred the older method, but was it changed intentionally? Is it more correct now?

While implementing the navgrid, we discovered that our TID offset was previously done incorrectly in the gnd stab mode. It's supposed to always reposition the TID overview so that own aircraft ends up at the location hook.

I've noticed that it now matches the behavior described in the manual. I just needs getting used to.

It's a shame it can't be used to 'zoom' into areas unrelated to A/C position but hey ho.

Thanks.
