Hi.

There is this stupid idea that just crossed my mind, i mean a question:

is it possible to have less trees in the Caucasus map forests? Meaning that, if there is a way to make the trees that populate the forests more scarce, less trees per square km, for example only 10% of the normal quanity of trees.

The idea is that less trees could maybe result in more and stable FPS.

Cheers!

I think the amount of trees per square kilometer could be partially lowered, as now it is similar to old simulators where big forests were simply a additional box on the terrain and set with tree textures around/top of it.

IMHO the so thick forests etc becomes boring for me as it is exactly that "Either it is forest, or it is open", instead there ain't much open areas or areas with trees scattered well around.

Why the areas around towns and cities are more interesting as there are trees scattered more, creating more places to look and watch out.

And each individual tree somewhere randomly is far more interesting than those forested areas that are just so thick and full of trees that there is no terrain at all.

It is great that we can have a large areas as forest, but IMHO they could be randomized and scatted more, not now that there would be like 10 trees per square kilometer, but more like a 1500 instead 10 000.
