Paco Posted December 6, 2019 Posted December 6, 2019 Can this be done in the AV-8? Like you can in the A-10? Manually enter a W/P and then slew the pod to said W/P. Thanks. Paco
Djmitri Posted December 6, 2019 Posted December 6, 2019 Yes of course. If you select the EHSD in one MPCD and in the other one the TPOD/DMT, just click on DESG in lower left of the EHSD display. Be sure, if you are using the TPOD, that the SLAVE option is underlined on the TPOD Display. 36° Stormo Virtuale
kengou Posted December 6, 2019 Posted December 6, 2019 Yes, it's very easy. You can enter a custom waypoint by hitting DATA on the EHSD and entering a waypoint number higher than the rest of your waypoints. Doesn't matter which one. Then enter the coordinates. Once done, close out of the DATA subpage and select the waypoint, then select DESG to make that waypoint a target point. Finally, on the TPOD, click "slave" on the bottom right to slew it to that point.
