Steinsch Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Compared to the F-16, the JF-17 feels super easy to land. Stable on approach, steady on the runway after touchdown, and of course super braking capability thanks to the drag chute. Chuck_Henry Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 What are you doing with power and the speed brake during the break itself? It seems like you rolled out really tight on downwind since you had to bank it hard to at least 60 degrees off the perch. That's not prohibited to my knowledge, but it's certainly not ideal. EDIT: Nice aerobrake at the end, though. I'm still trying to figure that part out myself. Even just a little backstick pressure on my part seems to really want to make the nose pitch past 10 degrees up.
Lymark Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Nice one! Do you have the speedbrake deployed all the way from downwind to full stop? I find the throttle to be extremely sensitive when landing with less than 2000lbs of fuel. And I wonder whether having spk bk deployed would be the right procedure.
