The 104th Phoenix Multiplayer Mission contest!

The 104th Phoenix VFBS is looking for great 64 player missions to host regularly on our dedicated Hyperlobby server "helioplolis" which will be going live on Dec,1st. Do you think you might have what it takes to create the best multiplayer mission ever? Give it a try and get the credit you deserve and win really cool prizes too.

 

First prize for the best mission is a choice between a NaturalPoint Track Clip Pro or a NaturalPoint Vector Pro Addon for the TrackIR3 complete with choice of hat or visor. If by chance the winner does not have or use a TrackIR (Crazy thought isn't it?) then they may opt for a Logitech MX-518 Gaming mouse. Second and third prizes will be 1.25" all metal Air Force Wings pins.

 

Mission Requirements:

 

1: All missions must be 64 players and created with smooth extended balanced Hyperlobby internet play in mind.

 

2: All missions must make use of all player AC in the sim.

 

3: All misssions must be both A2A and A2G and well balanced.

 

4: All missions must have complete briefings that are engaging, informative and tie in well with the mission itself for immersion. Please include credit to yourself as the author of the mission.

 

5: All missions must be set to realistic, missile effectiveness at default.

 

6: Use of AWACS and Naval assets strongly recommended but not a requirement.

 

7: All missions should be your best effort for online replayability and fun!

 

Contest Rules:

 

1: All missions submitted will be eligble for use on our server at our discretion.

The original creator of the mission will be credited in the briefing and in our forums mission description. The original creator will always get credit for the mission he or she created.

 

2: Limit of 1,000,000 entries per person. ;)

 

3: The top 5 missions chosen will run on our server and the community will be encouraged to choose their favorite in a poll we will take on the website to determine the winner.

 

4: The contest will be running from now until January 15, 2008. This should give us adequate time to collect entries and sort through them for testing on the server.
