MarcT-NL Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Nowhere in the release notes is this mentioned. So can anyone elaborate about the sling-loading in the choppers ? I only tested it in multiplayer with the Ka-50, so I'm not sure about other choppers or single-player. Before this upgrade the slingloading procedure was this: Mark a crate for pickup attach the hook by hovering over it, or attach it manually Take off slowly until the rope is tense, then carefully lift and fly off The cargo would be wobbling and dragging, and would weigh you down In external view you could see a crate hanging under your chopper Arrive at the destination and carefully put the cargo down and unhook. After the upgrade the procedure is like this: Hover over any crate and keep it still for 2 seconds You will get a message that you picked up the cargo You can just take off and fly full speed to your destination. There is no wobble or drag or weight. In external view you can't see the cargo At the destination, you can just fly low and drop it. You don't actually have to stop... This utterly destoys the immersion ! So can anyone of ED confirm my findings ? Or am I mistaken ?
MarcT-NL Posted December 19, 2019 Author Posted December 19, 2019 Never mind. It was the script in de Multiplayer-map which had changed.
